For those of you who are not familiar with gel candles, they are often more unique and beautiful than traditional wax candles. Compared to traditional wax candles - gel candles can be either clear or consist of a multitude of colors. Gel candles are long lasting, the experts say that they last even twice as long as traditional wax candles and candle makers can even embed items in gel candles. Please note that gel candles do burn at much higher temperatures than wax candles, therefore it is imperative that people follow the necessary safety precautions when making and burning gel candles.
