Some of us think of wax candles when the power goes out, we put them on birthday cakes and we use them to add a clean scent to our home. Candles can set the tone for a great event or a invigorating bubble bath. There are many great peachy things to do with candles.
However, if you have ever purchased wax candles, you know that they could often be very expensive indeed. Also you will probably get what you pay for which means the cheap ones are not worth what you go through to buy one. Since the cheapest wax candles are not good and neat candles can cost too much, you could be wondering if a person may have any different options. Well, guess what? You do! You can always produce your very own.
Making your own wax candles is not quite as hard as you may

imagine and we’re going to divulge to you exactly how to do it. All you have to do is simply read on and get hold of a few supplies and you will be making your own hand created wax candles in no time at all.
Before you get started, you are going to need to go to a craft supplies shop to get some ingredients for your project. The good news is that the supplies are simple and shouldn’t cost much. All you will need is some paraffin wax and a selection of wicks. Then you will also require coloring and scents of your choice. You also need a special double boiler, a wooden spoon and a stove. A thermometer will also help you be sure the water is warm enough for candle making.

water boiler and add the smashed wax. Now employ your thermometer and be confident the wax warms up to 160 degrees.
3. Mix the candle making wax and put in your colour choice a little at a time until you see the color you need.
4. Now you can put in the scent if you are using one. Be positive the wax stays the right temperature while you are mixing and adding.
5. Now cut your candle wicks to the length you need. Start dipping the candle wick into the hot wax.
6. Pull a piece of candle wick out and allow it to cool. Continue dipping and cooling until the candle is reaching the desired size.
7. Carry on this process until you dip your candle wick for the final time and let the candle cool down completely.
8. When it is entirely cooled, you can commence to slice away the extra candle wick and your new candle is now ready to utilize.
