Candle Accessories
As we all know, almost any
room in the house or an apartment can be decorated with candles, as
long as it is set up safely and they are not left
unsupervised. Although you may think of candles primarily as
table ornaments or as decorations for a birthday cake, there
are many uses to which candles and their
accessories can be put, to make your home more warm and inviting.
Here are some good examples for candles and candle accessories:
Why not add wall sconces (preferably the electric
kind) along your central staircase. These wall
candles add a lovely, romantic feel to any stairwell, creating a
sense of intimacy and perhaps an old fashioned look to blend with
your decorating style. Wall sconces are also practical outside often-used
rooms, like the bathroom as well as home offices.

Many people use votive candles, which add a decorative touch around the holidays. Set out a candle ring of plastic, vinyl, or fabric
flora, taking care that it is fireproof before lighting the
candle at its center. You can also place smaller candles around the
main one as accents in color-coded arrangements to emphasize
a certain holiday or pastel shadings for practical designs.
Although votive
candles may be white, they can be placed inside colored glass
holders, which make great Advent or Easter centerpieces, as well
as table decorations for religious celebrations like First
Communion and baptism. On the other hand large, round candles help to create attractive centerpieces for
holiday themes, such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, etc. Make sure that you
trim the candle base with related decorator craft
items, flowers or a basket.
Candle centerpieces or candelabra are sure to lighten up those special dinner celebrations
when put in the center of the table or the buffet. The candelabra may
also represent spiritual significance for events like Passover or
Christmas, or they can simply add a romantic touch to the evening.

Remember that candles do not need to be lit to become part of an attractive
centerpiece or decoration. they can be attached to the center of a wreath without lighting
even it for wonderful display. An old age tradition involves a candle at
either end of your fireplace (when it is not in use).
Use candles to
enhance romance, or mysticism to your next
gathering for guests or just for your family (or even your loved one). There are
few decorating
objects that can add to the ambiance like a candle does, especially a
scented candle. Candles, any shape and size, bring calmness to any home!
